Description
Shirl & Nev's is a restaurant I wanted to create that celebrates the life of my grandparents (Shirley and Nevin) who have now been together for 68 years and counting. It is a rustic farmstyle restaurant that bases its food around the Pennsylvania Dutch style cooking my Gram used to make for our family. I took these recipes straight from her handwriting and her cookbooks she uses religiously.
The logo mark was inspired by the small chicken doodles my Pap used to draw. He often sketched them with a pipe or a cigarette, finding them amusing. I wanted the logo to reflect his style while giving it a cuter, more appropriate twist.
